Micro Brewery Equipment is equipment that is used for brewing beer on a small scale. It is typically used by craft brewers, home brewers and small breweries. Examples of Micro Brewery Equipment include:

Mash kettle: A vessel used in the brewing process to create the wort, which is the liquid that contains the sugars that will be fermented into beer. The mash kettle is where malted grains are mixed with hot water to extract the sugars. The process of mixing the grains and hot water is called mashing.

Lauter tank: A lauter tank, also known as a mash filter or a mash tun, is a vessel used in the brewing process to separate the wort from the spent grains after mashing. The lauter tank is typically equipped with a false bottom or a filter screen that allows the liquid to pass through while retaining the solid grain particles.The wort is then transferred to the brew kettle for boiling and the addition of hops.

Whirlpool tank: A whirlpool tank, on the other hand, is a vessel used to separate the hot trub (the solid particles that settle out during the boil) from the wort after boiling. It is designed to create a swirling motion in the liquid that causes the trub to settle in the center of the tank, allowing the clear wort to be drawn off from the side.

Infusion mashing steps of 3-vessel-in-2 tank configuration:

1. Feed ingredients to the left Mash Kettle and gradually heat up until the mashing is completed;

2. The saccharated mash is pumped into the Lauter Tank for the first wort filtration, and then filtered to the Whirlpool Tank below the Lauter Tank;

3. Prepare 78℃ sparging water in the Mash Kettle;

4. After the first wort filtration, sparge the grains.

5. Sterilize the wort pipe and heat exchanger with the hot water which is remaining in Mash Kettle;

6. The wort from the Lauter Tank is completely filtered, and then empty the Mash Kettle;

7. Pump the wort from Whirlpool Tank to Mash Kettle for boiling.
